The location was unbeatable, and we could reach Junction Art Gallery by walking. Plus the hotel was in front of restaurants and bars. Comforts of airy and delightful deluxe queen room with a superking bed were fabulous.

I liked my enormous bathroom, comfortable bed and sitting in the courtyard with a glass of wine. Overall, I chose it because it was described as a 14th Century coaching in and I enjoyed everything that came with this age of building.

The location was excellent, staff pleasant and appeared to be trying hard having recently taken over. Breakfast was good.
The hotels own website was very misleading and our expectations were high. The room did not bear any resemblance to those shown on the site and was mediocre. We were very disappointed.

The owners were absolutely brilliant. They were very friendly & helpful. We were visiting for a wedding in Woodstock and had a two night stay. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was comfortable & the Marlborouh Arms itself is full of character. The price is fair in comparison with other hotels in the area. A visit to the Black Prince Pub and a walk through Blenhiem Palace grounds is a must.

The location was convenient for visiting Blenheim Palace, shopping in Bicester Village, sightseeing in Oxford and local village dining with various options.
We booked a deluxe room (no 1) and got the standard room (no 5) but were charged the agreed rate for the better room. The bathroom ceiling had cobwebs and there were hairs around the taps in the sink.
